Agere Systems HDA Faxmodem Yükleme Sorunu

Merhaba Arkadaşlar,

HP 6710b laptop'umda konu başlığında belirttiğim modem mevcut ve bu işyeri bilgisayarı olduğu için fax çekebilmem gerekiyor. Modemin linmodem olup olmadığını anlayamıyorum ve ecnebi sitelerde yaptığım araştırmalarda da bu marka ve model modemlerde 2 çeşit çip kulanıldığı ve birinin linux ortamında çalışıp diğerinin çalışmadığı yazıyor. Öncelikle bu modemimin linmodem olup olmadığını anlayabilmek için ne yapmalıyım? Ve sürücü bulabilir miyim?

Linux ile hiç fax modem kullanmadım ama size yardımcı olmaya çalışayım.

Üzgünüm. Büyük ihtimalle modem Linux tarafından tanınmamış. 

Şu topluluk belgesinde modemin tanınıp tanınmadığını görmek için, aslında ağa eski usul dial-up bağlantı yapmaya yarayan gnome-ppp aracının kullanımı önerilmiş. Bu aracı aşağıdaki komutla yükleyip modemi tanıyıp tanımadığını bir deneyebilir misiniz?

Teşekkür ederim fakat hiçbir kombinasyonda modemi tanımadı. Sanırım bu konuda yapılabilecek bir şey kalmadı.
