o151en_linux_UFRII_v310.zip sıkıştırılmış dosyayı indirdikten sonra sağ tıklayıp buraya ayıkla diye açalım, "uk_eng" adında bir dizin olarak açılacak. Uçbirimi açıp eğer indirilenler dizininde ise değilse olduğu dizine geçin.

18 ağustos 2011'de halodayı2000 adlı bir kullancı da aynı sorunları yaşamış o da çözememiş galiba canon'un mf4010 sürümü kaldırılmış bu yüzden ubuntuda görülmüyor galiba görülmeyecek de...
Aklıma başka bir düşünce geldi, acaba sistemde scannerı (herhangi bir scanner gibi) kullandığımız gibi printer'ı da canon mf4010 değil de herhangi bir printer gibi kullanabilir miyiz

Kurulumda otomatik ama nedense rpm paketlerini kurmaya çalışıyor deb paletleri yerine,  64 bit drivers dizini içerisinde debianın altında .deb paketleri onları elle kurun.

mevcut ayarlarda değişiklik yapmam gerekiyor mu? 2 tane şık var otomatik olarak işaretlenen şık ki onunla deneme yaptım yine çalışmadı, bunun yerine diğer şıkkı tercih etmem mi gerekiyor bilmiyorum fakat onda da  "Olduğu gibi yeni PPD (Postscript Printer Description) dosyasını kullan. Bu yolla bütün geçerli seçenek ayarları yok olacak yeni PPD dosyasının varsayılan ayarları kullanılacak." diye bir uyarı var.

Mevcut Ayarları Aktarmayı Deneyin,
1) Olduğu gibi yeni PPD (Postscript Printer Description) dosyasını kullan. Bu yolla bütün geçerli seçenek ayarları kaybolacak. Yeni PPD dosyasının varsayılan ayarları kullanılacak
2) Eski PPD'den seçenek ayarlarını kopyalamayı dene. Yeni PPD dosyasında bulunmayan seçenek ayarları kaybolacak ve sadece yeni PPD dosyasında bulunanlar varsayılan olarak atanacak. Bu aynı adlı seçeneklerin aynı anlama geldikleri varsayılarak yapılıyor
