Ubuntu 11.10 Wireless ve VINN modem bağlantı sorunu

Merhaba, win7 ultimate bilgisayarımın başka bir bölümüne 11.10 sürümlü Ubuntu'yu kurdum fakat bağlantı sorunu yaşıyorum. Kablosuz ağı görüyor fakat şifreyi soruyor yazıyorum "********" diye fakat bağlantıyı gerçekleştirmiyor, tekrar şifre sorma yerine geliyor. bir ikincisi ise VINN modemimi takıyorum fakat onda da sorun devam ediyor. wireless bağlantı sorununu nasıl aşabilirim ?

Wİcd nedir hocam çözüm getirebilir mi sorunuma?

@ktumit, wicd network-manager gibi bir ağ bağlantı yöneticisidir. Getirebilir de getirmeyebilir de çözüm. Wicd kurmadan önce üzerine biraz daha gidelim. Ağ taramasında hiç ağ görünmüyor ama sen ağa bağlanmaya çalıştığını söylüyorsun. Bu nasıl oluyor?

@if edit gibi bir alan vardı sanırım orada bu ağımın ismini gördüm ve düzenle dedim oradaki sekmelerin birinde şifreleme türlerini sıralamış tek tek onları seçtim ve giriş yapmayı denedim gene olmadı, linke de baktım fakat nasıl değiştireceğimi halen çözemedim

@bytan hocam ben de İnternet yokken bu güncellemeleri nasıl yapabilirim (yani İnternet'e giremiyorken), gerçekten bilgisizliğimi mazur görün yeni başladım başarmak istiyorum.
