It seems that Oneiric Ocelot is heading towards an easy-to-use but full-fledged, feature-full experience.

Starting months ago, the indicators have been put into a continuous work/rework (the Me Menu has been integrated into an enhanced Messaging Menu, new "Clear" option, middle-click on the Sound Indicator to mute it ON/OFF, etc).

Days ago, the Session Menu (the indicator's name is "indicator-session", so the name of the menu, at least at the moment, is "Session Menu") received a new redesigned icon, a large "Cog", which, it seems, triggered some misunderstandings about its functionality.

A new update in Ubuntu Mono icons have brought a new Session Menu icon, composed from a large "power" icon and a small "cog".

Bluetooth entry has been removed from the Session Menu (can be accessed via System Settings-->Hardware).

User Menu has been present in Oneiric in the last days, but was "invisible" for 1-user computers (the computer's user name was visible if in the same machine there were more than 2 accounts).

All is fixed now, the user name is present on the Unity panel and gained a new sharp "stock person" icon.

"Online Accounts" and "User Accounts" are just 1-click away with User Menu's new functionality.

User Accounts features a new stock icon and plenty of awesome-ness, to change your avatar, just hover over the stock icon, click the bottom-right arrow and choose an avatar.

The user's configuration are click-able
