Yeni ati sürücüleri

Tamda dün yabancı bir dergide yeni linux ati sürücülerinin çıktığını acaba dedim dergi eskimiydi, keşke yeni sürücü çıksada sorunlar biraz daha azalsa. Bunları happypenguin.org sayfasını açarken düşünüyordum ki ne görüm ilk sırada yeni ati sürücüsü haberi .

http://ati.amd.com/support/driver.html adresinden sürücülere ulaşabilirsiniz. Ubuntu ne zaman paket çıkartır veya çıkarttımı bilmiyorum.

Yeni sürücü ile değişenler:

    * A fatal server error no longer occurs when changing the display resolution using Catalyst Control Center Linux Edition and restarting X.
    * Catalyst Control Center Linux Edition: Clicking on the 3D leaf in Page Tree no longer results in 3D Page Tree failing to respond.
    * Catalyst Control Center Linux Edition: A green box at the bottom of the page the TV and Position page is no longer displayed.
    * Default buttons are no longer available in the Catalyst Control Center for driver options that do not have custom settings available.
    * HDMI Audio support for the Linux Operating system is now available for the ATI Radeon HD 3100/3200 series of products.
    * Hot plugging a digital panel to an ATI Radeon HD 46x0 series product no longer results in the digital panel failing to become active.
    * X-Windows no longer fails to launch after the driver installation for the ATI Radeon HD 4870 product.
    * Rebooting the system after completing the driver installation no longer results in X failing to re-start on systems containing an ATI FireGL V7700 series of product.
    * X no longer fails to respond when shutting down in dual head mode.
    * The entire X desktop including the mouse cursor is no longer choppy during playback of video files or suzi test app.
    * The TV size and position adjusting sliders are no longer missing on systems running Linux.
    * Running aticonfig -initial -f on a system with two display devices connected no longer results in dual head mode failing to function.
    * Automatic post install configuration is now functioning.
    * Corruption is no longer noticed on the Linux Desktop when moving an application or browser window.
    * Logging out one of multiple users no longer results in X failing to display an image.
    * Connecting an HDMI display device may result in the audio failing to be heard.
    * Connecting both a CRT and DFP display device no longer results in the CRT failing to display an image if the DFP is disconnected and then reconnected to the system.
    * The resolutions of 540p and 1080p @ 60Hz no longer fail to be added to the Display Manager list of resolutions when they are selected from HDTV -> Formats.
    * Connecting an HDMI display device and connecting an HDMI cable from the graphics card to the display device no longer results in audio failing.
    * Closing fgl_glxgears or glxgears via the toolkit "X" in a multi-head dual-head environment no longer results in a segmentation fault.
    * Running textured video on systems running Linux no longer results in a segmentation fault.
    * GLESX: An unresolved symbol error is no longer noticed in the XOrg log.
    * Playing rotyov no longer results in the system response time becoming slow on SLES10.2.
    * Doom 3: The performance gap between Windows XP and Linux no longer increases when CrossFire is enabled.
    * Doom3: Enabling clone mode and setting the display resolution to 1280x1024 no longer results in corruption being noticed.

Proprietary Linux drivers for ATI Radeon cards

This is a closed-source 2D and 3D display driver for ATI graphics cards.
As of driver version 8.29.6 support for the following products is no longer included:
Radeon® 8500/9000/9100/9200/9250
Mobility™ Radeon® 9000/9100/9200
Radeon® IGP 9000/9100/9200

Users with these products should use driver version 8.28.8

Bende de compiz çalışırken sürekli ekran kendi kendine kapanıyordu.Bende biosdan bütün ayarları optimize defaults seçeneği ile eski haline getirdim. Tam ubuntuya format atacakken
artık compiz ile film seyredebiliyorum küpü çevirdiğimde ara bir kasılma ile film devam ediyor. Ubuntuya geçme sebebim bilgisayarımda yüklü olan xp nin son zamanlarda çok mavi ekrana geçmesiydi. Sanırım biosda yaptığım işlem ona da faydalı olmuştur. Ama bakmadım ne gerek var Ubundu ile herşeyi yapıyorum.

Benim bilgisayarımın biosda ekran ile değiştirilecek fazla seçeneği yok zaten aşağı yukarı herşey öntanımlı halde, tek umudum yeni sürücüler .

sürücüleri "sudo ./ati-driver-installer-8-12-x86.x86_64.run" komutu ile kurdum. Kurulum sırasında herhangi bir sorunla karşılaşmadım ama Ati Control Center çalışmadı.

@Radres, forumda "ati control center" diye aratsaydınız bunun nedenini de çözümünü de görürdünüz. Lütfen ARA özelliğini kullanalım.

aramıştım aslında ama belirtmemişim haklısınız tabi... aşağıdaki link ten başka bir şey bulamadım burda da çözüm filan yok sonunda linux hepisini yenmiş "Catalyst'i dert etmeyin" denmiş şaka gibi... aslında bana control center gerekli değil vsnyc yi açmak istiyorum bunun başka bir yolu varsa oda olur  forumda aradım ama bulamadım aramada mı problem var acaba

Benim envyng ile kurduğum sürücüde bir sorun yok.O yüzden hiç kurcalayıp bulaşmadım.Bilgilendirmek amacıyla yazdım.

bu komutun sorunu çözmesi lazım. zaten kurulumdan sonra çıkan pencerede "sorun olursa bu komutu yazın" şeklinde uyarı çıkıyor.
