Video izlerken sistem donuyor

Bende bu konuda sorun yaşıyorum. Tüm donanımı desteklediğini nasıl görebiliriz? Yani belki bazı donanımları desteklemiyordur, bunu anlamanın bir yolu yok mu? PC windowsta donmaz iken ubuntu da yada diğer bazı dağıtımlarda defalarca donuyor, bir video izlerken görüntü bazen saçma sapan oluyor yada bir program açarken acayip hantal çalışıyor. İllaki bir sorun var, bunu anlamanın yolu nedir? Nerden görebiliriz yada ne yapabiliriz bu konuda.
