Öncelikle anlatım Arch Linux içindir ve Arch ile Manjaro üzerinde denenmiştir, Ubuntu kullanıcıları anlatımı komutları uyarlasınlar.
Benim ve pek çok arkadaşın ilk zamanlar linux'a geçince karşılaştığı en önemli sorun olan güç tasarrufu olayına değineceğim, gerçi son zamanlarda bu sorun laptop-mode ve tlp vs. ile bayağı çözüldü ama daha da etkili bir yöntem var o da powertop'un sihirli dünyasında ;) Ve iddia ediyorum benim gibi batarya kullanım oranı wifi'ye bağlanmaktan %20-30 seviyesine düşünlere bile ilaç gibi gelecek, windowstaki güç yönetiminden daha etkili ve şarjınız daha çok dayanacak.
Laptop-mode-tools servisi başlangıçta başlamayınca ve işlevini yerine getiremeyince ben de araştırıp powertop'la bu işin daha etkili bir biçimde yapılabileceğini buldum.2-3 aydır bu şekilde kullanıyorum ve çok memnunum umarım siz de memnun kalırsınız.
Şimdi ilk önce dizüstü bilgisayar batarya ile kullanımda iken komutu yürütün
sudo powertop --calibrate
ekran yanıp sönebilir korkmayın, işlem tamamlanıp powertop'un ekranına düşene kadar sabredin.
Sonra powerop'un topladığı bu verilere göre powertop'u systemd ile servis olarak başlangıçta çalıştırmak için Aur'daki powertop-autotune paketini yükleyin ve başlangıçta çalışması için aktif hale getirin:
yaourt -Sy powertop-autotune-systemd
sudo systemctl start powertop-autotune.service
sudo systemctl enable powertop-autotune.service
Bu kadar, deneyenler işe yarayıp yaramadığını yazarlarsa sevinirim.

O değil de powertop için bir gui neden yapılmaz anlamıyorum, bu arada amd işlemcili masaüstü bilgisayarda da powertop kullanabiliyorum.Çok ilginç ama kullanılıyor ve işe de yarıyor.

Depolarda powertop mevcut. sudo apt-get install powertop komutunu vererek kolayca kurabilirsiniz sisteminize.

Benim kullandigim bir yazilim olmadigi icin ilk elden tecrubem yok. man sayfasini okudunuz mu? Oradaki bilgiler yetersiz mi?
çok emin değilim ama sanırım termınal harıcınde gozuken bır program değil . bu nedenle ayar yapman gerklı değil diye biliyorum .uzun zaman once kullandım, bır ayar hatırlamıyorum ,umarım yardımcı olur .yakın zamanda kullanan arkadaşlar daha ayrıntılı bılgı verebılır
Arch kullandığım için powertop-autotune servisi init'e nasıl gömülür bilemiyorum, malum bizim tarafta systemd var.Ama powertop-autotune servisi systemd ile başlangıçta otomatik başlayabiliyorsa init'te de bir şekilde olur.Veya betik olarak başlangıçta çalışması için eklenebilir.Tabi ubuntu'da powertop olayını denemedim.
/etc/rc.local dosyasina eklenebilir Ubuntu'da. Dosyanin son hali suna benzer gorunecektir.

bu komut çalıştıktan sonra sonuçlar var/cache/powertop içine kayıt edilmesi gerek ama ekranda göremedim,bir şekilde bu kayıt yyapılırsa otomatik olmasa da elle komut verildiğinde kayıt ettiği değerleri uygulayabilir.

sudo powertop --calibrate komutunu verin ekran uzun süre kararıp, yanıp sönecek, bu sırada bluetooth, wifi ve kablosuz mouse'un bağlantıları sürekli gidip gelebilir, hemen paniklemeyin, korkup komutu yarıda kesmeyin, powertop'un ana ekranına düşene kadar işlemin tamamlanmasını bekleyin.Powertop'un ana ekranına düşünce esc ile çıkın ve başlangıçta çalışması için @cagriemer'in önerisini uygulayın varsayılan metin editörünüzle /etc/rc.local dosyasını açın
sudo geany /etc/rc.local sonra dosyaya powertop --auto-tune'yi ekleyin dosyanızın şöyle olması:

Bu arada yazmayı unutmuşum bugün kardeşimin amd işlemcili ve grafik kartlı masaüstü bilgisayarında Manjaro üzerinde powertop --auto-tune servisini çalıştırmayı denedim ve sonuç olumlu, neredeyse tüm aygıtlar iyi-good durumunda, demek ki amd'de işe yarıyormuş.

son *çıktı bu geldı çok ılgınç ben sunu yaptım elle yazdıgım ve kaydet dediğim dosya içini silip senın yazdığını kopyala yapıştır yaptım
bırde daha once benim bataryada bir sorun olmustu elle baskı yapıldığında pıl algılanıyor ve sarj alıyordu servise gitti ayaklar değiştirildi sonuç olarak yine baskı uygulamam gerekiyordu zaman zaman ve tekrar servise yollamıştım şarz entegresinin yenilendiği bilgisi ile geri gelmişti yinede çook seyrek olarak aynı baskı uygulamayı gerektiriyor ... sorun bu kaynaklıda olabilir
Olmuş işte sen bir şeyi yanlış yapmışsın, daha dikkatli ol komutları uygularken, şimdi cat /etc/rc.local çıktını geç.

benim bataryam normalde 2.5 saatten biraz fazla yada eksik ortalamada bunu veriyor ayarı tam performanstı wındowsda iken ve sure buydu . ubuntu kullanmaya basladıkdan sonra 3 saat dayanıyordu . umarım daha gelışmıştır bu ayarlardan sonra :))
rc.local'e önceden yaptığınızda neden işlemedi bilmiyorum ama eğer verdiğiniz çıktı doğru ise bilgisayarı yeniden başlatın bakalım, bu kez olacak mı? Yeniden açıldığında
sudo powertop komutunu verip tunables'e tekrar bakın.

Demek ki rc.local'e işlemiyor, tekrar sudo powertop --auto-tune komutunu verin düzelecektir.Bu durumda rc.local'e işlememesinin nedeni powertop --auto-tune dosyasının tam yolunu yazmamaktan kaynaklanıyor olabilir.Deneyimli Ubuntu kullanıcıları deneyip sonucu aktarsa daha iyi fikir sahibi oluruz.Açıkçası başlangıçta neden başlamıyor şu an için aklıma bir şey gelmiyor, belki de bir şekilde init'e eklenmeli, araştırmak gerek.

Enteresan değil olması gereken durum, sorun rc.local'e eklediğimiz powertop --autotune servisinin başlamaması. Daha deneyimli Ubuntu kullanıcıları bu sorunun nedenini yazacaktır.
eskı olduğunu duşunduğumden işlemin en başından başlayıp yenıden yukleme yaptım . tüm adımları tamamladım . sonuc aynı başlangıçta çalışmıyor .

komut sonrası hepsı ıyı oluyor yanı otomatık başlamıyor sonuc bu sanırım
Dediğim gibi başlangıçta başlamıyor daha deneyimli kullanıcılar deneyip sorunu çözecektir.

su anda sorun yaşıyorum . *fare sureklı işlem yapmamaya başladı taunçped çalışıyor bu konuyla ugraşıyorum yakın zamanda dener sonucu yazarım
kararlı surum olan 14.04 kullammama ramen sorunların ardı arkası gelmıyor .. ne yapmalıyım bilemiyorum . dun açılısta sorun vardı bugun fare diğer pcde çalışıyor bende pc kapatıp açtıgımda 25 dakıka çalısıp sonra resetleme gerekıyor
Onun nedeni powertop, powertop'dan şu aygıtınızım üstüne gelip enter'e basın kötü olsun sorun çözülecektir.

4-2 nın uzerıne gelmeden alt yada ust satıra atlıyor bunu tamamen kaldırma yolu varmı
sudo apt-get --purge remove powertop ile kaldırın.
synaptıc le hallettım satırları 3 er 4 der çıkıyor oklatla satır alta al dediğiim de bile paket kaldırıldı
/etc/rc.local dosyasina bir sey eklediginizde bu dosyayi calistirilabilir yapmaniz gerekiyor.
sudo chmod 755 /etc/rc.local

@ata ben anlatımın başında demişim Arch ve Manjaro'ya göre anlatıyorum Ubuntu kullananlar komutları kendine uyarlasın diye. Kaldı ki Ubuntu systemd kullanmıyor ki neden systemd ile ilgili komutları Ubuntu üzerinde uyguluyorsunuz?
Sürücülerin yeniden kurulmasına gerek yoktu, neyse kısaca Ubuntu kullananlar nasıl yapabilir yazayım:
İlk önce sudo apt-get install powertop ile paketi kurun sonra batarya ile kullanımda iken sudo powertop --calibrate komutunu verin ekran uzun süre kararıp, yanıp sönecek, bu sırada bluetooth, wifi ve kablosuz mouse'un bağlantıları sürekli gidip gelebilir, hemen paniklemeyin, korkup komutu yarıda kesmeyin, powertop'un ana ekranına düşene kadar işlemin tamamlanmasını bekleyin.Powertop'un ana ekranına düşünce esc ile çıkın ve başlangıçta çalışması için @cagriemer'in önerisini uygulayın varsayılan metin editörünüzle /etc/rc.local dosyasını açınsudo geany /etc/rc.local sonra dosyaya powertop --auto-tune'yi ekleyin dosyanızın şöyle olması:

sudo powertop --calibrate
bu komut çalıştıktan sonra sonuçlar var/cache/powertop içine kayıt edilmesi gerek ama ekranda göremedim,bir şekilde bu kayıt yyapılırsa otomatik olmasa da elle komut verildiğinde kayıt ettiği değerleri uygulayabilir.
Orasını bilemiyorum powertop sürümüyle alakalı olabilir, çünkü hatırladığım kadarıyla önceki sürümlerde powertop-autotune servisi yoktu, bende görünen sürüm şu:

Dediğiniz ayarlamalarla hepsini good'a çevirdim bir nebze etkisi oldu ama pc yine ubuntu'da oldukça çabuk şarj tüketiyor aşırı ısınma söz konusu değil ama zaman zaman donmalar mevcut acaba sorun donanımsal olabilir mi ?

Donmaların nedeni özellikle faredekilerin nedeni powertop'ta kalibrasyon yaptığınızda onu da güç tasarrufuna almasıdır. Fare modeli ne ise onu bad ya da kötü kategorisine alın sorun düzelir. Bundan başka şarjın hızlı gitmesi konusuna gelirsek powertop bir nebze etkili onun haricinde ekstra bir sürü şey var ekran kartından tut işlemciye kadar yapılması gereken ince ayarlar var.
İşlemci için konuşacak olursam mevcut kernel en son derlemeye kalktığımda sanıyorum ondemand olarak otomatik şekilde işlemci frekansını ayarlayan bir şekilde geliyordu. Bunu ya kerneli derleyerek powersave ya da conservative moduna ayarlarsınız ya da https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/CPU_frequency_scaling#Scaling_governors burda anlatıldığı gibi cpupower ile her açılıştan sonra kontrol altına alabilirsiniz.
Mesela bilgisayar açıldığında
sudo cpupower frequency-set -g powersave komutunu girerseniz işlemci en düşük güç tüketimine ayarlanır. Ama benim tavsiyem conservative modunu kullanmanız ya da bu modlar arası duruma göre geçiş yapmanız.
Ekran kartı ve kablosuz internet için de ekstra ayarlar var ama bunlar markadan markaya farklı ayarlamaları gerektiriyor. Bu yüzden benim ayarları yazsam size uymayacaktır. Onun için daha fazla detaya girmiyorum.
Yani gönül isterdi ki tek tıkla bunlar yapılsın ama maalesef öyle olmuyor linux ve bsd türevlerinde araştırıp kendi sorunlarınıza kendinizin sorun bulması lazım bir yerde.
